Peace and Social Justice Week
A week-long celebration each year, centering relevant topics of peace, social justice, social action, and community!
Peace & Social Justice Week (PSJW) is an annual signature week-long event hosted by the Social Justice Resource Center in collaboration with various campus partners. PSJW is an opportunity for the Northeastern community to engage in dialogue, reflection, and action. This is open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members where you can share your experiences and speak your truth as to what peace and social justice mean to you.

PSJW 2023
Enough Already: Genuine Care and Collective Action
Our 2023 theme, “Enough Already: Genuine Care and Collective Action,” is grounded in the idea of liberatory enoughness and centers the importance of community care and connection. How do we allow ourselves to be “enough already” and live authentically and holistically? How are we affirming that the communities we build are “enough already”? How do we take action after having had “enough already” and create opportunities for sustainable movement building?

Student Justice Collective
The ‘Collective’ is a group of justice-oriented student organizations and student leaders who engage in coalition building efforts on campus. The goal of the collective is to be a space where students can share resources, create mutual responsibility, and increase their capacity for activism. This is a space where students can process, strategize, and create unified responses and action for organizing.
The role of the SJRC is to host a leadership summit at the beginning of each semester with community building activities and dialogues that center intersectional solidarity work and sustainable student-led and justice-centered coalition building. Additionally, the SJRC serves as the hub for logistical and administrative support for organizations involved in the Collective.
